I think they need to get ahead of Cleveland if they want Colt McCoy. What kind of pick would it cost them to move up 4 or 5 spots in round 2?
What would it take to move up in round 2

Re: What would it take to move up in round 2
There are at least 8 players still on the board who would be a decent to excellent value to the Bills at a position of need. They don't need to move up to get one of them.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Take a gamble on Skelton in the 4th. If that doesn't look like it's going to work out, draft a QB with the 1st pick overall next year.

Re: What would it take to move up in round 2
In 2007 to get Poz they gave up the 43nd (2nd round) and 74th (3rd round) picks in the draft to Detroit for the 34th (2nd round).
Per a draft value chart I found online 43rd is worth 470 & 74th is worth 220 for total of 690.
The 34th pick is worth 560.
That was a 3rd round pick to move up 9 spots in the 2nd round, they must have really wanted Poz cause they overpaid some to get him.
The first pick of the 2nd round, the 33rd is worth 580
The Bills 2nd round pick is the 41st, is worth 490
3rd, #72 is worth 230
4th, #107 is worth 80
5th, #140 is worth 36
6th, #178 is worth 20.2
6th, #192 is worth 14.6
7th, #209 is worth 7.8
7th, #216 is worth 5
So it would cost Buffalo at least a 4th rounder (or more) to move up.
Other teams may want to move up to.
There are some good players left, but they will be going fast.
KC has the 5th pick and with Weis there he is likely pushing the FO to pick Clausen if he is still there.
Clevland needs a QB an they pick 7th.
