"Need is important, but we needed a guy who could come here and start immediately"

Wow... Very little faith in Fred Jackson/Marshawn Lynch. Also saying that there's nothing on the Marshawn block... That somewhat worries me. Absolutely love Modraks faith in Shawn Nelson/the guards too.

I like that they took their player and stuck to their board. There really wasn't a guy to pick at 9 that would have fit our needs and still been a "sure thing." I think Spiller is pretty close to a sure thing.

We need to get better offensively and we did, regardless of what other positions we still need help at.

Sounds to me like they picked Spiller to start NOW! And I also don't believe what they say about Lynch. They are trying to make teams think that they want to keep Lynch. But I have no doubt that they are on the phone tonight and tomorrow afternoon shopping him for a 3rd round pick or a conditional pick.

Select the BPA in 2010 to replace the "BPA" from 2007- I love it.

At the very worst we got three solid backs, it's a win-win.

Good point. Or we got solid trade bait if RBs go down in Training Camp.

you really want to right the ship?

Lynch, Whitner and Parrish should all be traded for picks.

I love Whitner and Lynch should possibly be kept, unless a 2nd is offered, anything less than that just doesn't cut it.

He's going to be used more like Harvin than Adrian Peterson. Expect him to be lined up all over the field.

"I'm interested in seeing what Chan can do with him". I love the attitude. Get the players and figure out the system based on their talent.

I'm expecting some variation of the spread.

They never considered trading up, did they? I'm not going to criticize them for trying and failing, but if you need something that bad, you've got to be willing to sacrifice some things to move up and get the player you need. The 'Skins needed picks-- that was a opportunity ripe for the taking, and all indications are that they left it on the table. Everybody wants to move down these days and stockpile on picks, unless it's later in the first round.

CJ Spiller is, right now, the best player on the Buffalo Bills.

Somewhat agree. But what exactly does that say?
