The fact that Spiller was taking notes on the Pointer Sisters says this kid listens to whatever someone in the position of authority tells him.

eh he isnt lovable like marshawn is (in terms of personality at least) but i certainly love his speed and agility...that one swing pass he took the distance in the video, just juked the s*** outta 2 guys and then made everyone else look like they were standing still as he ran away from them.

he is the anti Lynch IMO.... A class man who has a passion to play and dedication to get better.

I still think trading down was the option to pursue, but if he becomes the TD mnachine we need all is forgiven

i would not compare his dialect to mckelvin.. spiller just has a southern accent.. mckelvin is like mushmouth from fat albert.

to me it was a bit weird that he was taking notes, and he was probably told to do so anyways...either way im on board with the pick and cant wait to see him win the OROY

Everyone he's had in his camp was taking notes I believe. McCoy, Bradford, Clausen and Tebow.

Outside of maybe Leon Washington, is it safe to say we may now have the most explosive RB in the AFCE?

i guess we'll see, but I think Spiller is more explosive than Leon...faster at least.

Oh, I know. I was just joking around. Spiller really didn't say too much in that session with Gruden.

I know, I'm giving Leon the benefit since he has actually done it to this point.

Well, he did score a 10 on the Wonderlic, which ties him with my dog, Draftboy, that kid who ate three jars of paste in elementary school, and Mark Sanchez.

Damn, that's pretty poor.

How high do you need to score on the Wonderlic to be able to juke? The kid's got vision and great instincts in avoiding would-be tacklers. That's all I need to know. He's smart enough to do his job in running routes and running the ball.

It makes no difference what he scores, but Spiller was an academic all American. That's what surprised me.

Interesting, I didn't realize that. I know the football players have academic "help" in their college careers, but knowing that he graduated in 3.5 years is definitely a plus.

I'm not seeing any reason to be worried about how "dumb" he could be. Not like anyone can truly judge from that video anyway.

It doesn't matter, it just makes him an idiot.

I could care less. There are plenty of highly skilled, fully functioning idiots out there. And Spiller's obviously good at his job.

Spiller was such an example, finishing his degree in only 3½ years, that he got a standing ovation from Clemson's board of trustees during his graduation in December.

Clemson. Football player. Scored a 10 on a test that my six year old nephew would score a 15 on. Dumb.

I'm sure they gave him a standing ovation, he made the school a ****-ton of money.
