All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Buffalo is changing its 0-for-14 man-advantage unit in a big way -- or, based on size, a small way. Nathan Gerbe is replacing Raffi Torres for Game Five against Boston, and the left winger is getting a power-play role, too. One of the Sabres' units will feature Ennis, Drew Stafford and Gerbe up front, with Tyler Myers and Rivet at the point.
Torres isn't injured? I liked the grit he brought, even if he didn't do much offensively.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
This is what I absolutely hate about Ruff as a HC. Connolly or Pominville deserve to sit more then Torres, but because they are the "chosen ones" they never are held accountable. Ruff has really been brutal in these playoffs.
If we are trying to add toughness, why are we taking out a guy who is willing to throw a check every once in a while and put in a small guy...Take out Pussyville who hasn't thrown a check in 8 years and put in the guy who is about 2 inches shorter than him.

I don't agree with it, but I think the logic is trying to generate some offense. Ennis and Gerbe worked together in Portland on the PP, so they might be able to get it going here. I think at this point they are willing to try anything to get that thing going.
In fact, it wouldn't shock me if they asked to start declining the penalties just to avoid more embarrassment.
