Pete Carroll "really likes Lynch"

Here's hoping....

According to Yahoo's Charles Robinson, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll "really likes" Marshawn Lynch.
Robinson has been on the Lynch trade trail for months, so we'd tend to trust him here. Robinson even isn't ruling out the Seahawks sending the No. 60 overall pick to Buffalo for Lynch, with the Bills apparently still holding out for a second-rounder. That seems like quite a bit to pay a player who's fallen off so dramatically of late, but Lynch would definitely be an upgrade.

Good, because I'd "really like" to trade him for the #60 spot, before he gets "really suspended" for "hijacking cars."

Pete Carrol would know about Lynch. USC played them every year so he probably watched a lot of game film on him over the years Lynch was at Cal.

honestly, if the seahawks give us the 60th pick, i think it's hard not to laugh as you say ok. That's pretty pricey for a guy who will definitely complete the felony/misdemeanor hat-trick.

Didn't Seattle give up at least a third or so for Charlie Whitehurst? It's very possible. But as ptd said, I don't expect more than a 4th and even that I'd be happy with.

Exactly...get another 3rd and then you have ammunition to move back into the 2nd for a player you like. I hope they aren't too stubborn about getting a 2nd...the iron is hot with Seattle...get a deal done.
