Re: Early Ratings are in...
I actually warmed up to the new format.
The gap between round #1 and rounds 2-3 gives teams lots of time to work on deals etc...
Should make for more excitement in these rounds...
it is also nice to be able to discuss the 1st rd the next morning, who's left, and then what might happen today...

The NFL teams love it, little doubt. It gives them time to reload and explore trades.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

I like it, as there is plenty of news flying around. Lots of anticipation about the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Also typically decreases the chance that something will happen for a day and I'll miss a significant portion of it. If you're busy Thursday, still get to see most of the draft. Same if you're busy Friday."Misguided political correctness tethers our intellects."

Originally posted by ct bills fanDraftboy - which of the 3 or 4 very good Tackles (Saffold, Brown, Campbell, Ducasse) left do you like most? My guess is, with the Bills seemingly trying to move up to Stl's pick, they want one of these Tackles and not a qb,COMING SOON...

Re: Early Ratings are in...
Last year was the year they did that silly "first two rounds at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon experiment." I'm not surprised that this is an improvement. If you're going to do Saturday, do it at noon like they used to do. I do like the reduced pick time, but there's something about setting aside a full day for the draft that seems so, well, romantic.
