Fast. Good size. From what I've heard he has good character.

Wide receiver was a sleeper need for this team. Easley is not a bad player.

I would rather have Selvish Capers, but I'm not going to ***** about it.

Vintage Bills pick...

By that I mean he's a big contributor on Special Teams.

I think he will be in the mix to catch passes in the offense. GO BILLS:offair:

i know marcus, used to study accounting with him. great kid, great size and athleticism. love this pick, he is going to be very good. excellent hands too

began at uconn as a walk-on, and he had a breakout year this year with a very questionable quarterback situation because of injury all year.

great pick

p.s. im a uconn grad

There are no surprises anymore. This is just rounds 4 - 7

I like the pick up...The #2-#5 WR positions are pretty much open for a competition

I just happen to have a report on him. I'm not posting everything, but here's the general rundown:

H:6'26 W:210 40 time: 4.45.

Strengths - Good size & arm length. Shows ability to make tough catch in the crowd. Very good strength & RAC ability. Physical & aggressive run blocker on the edge.

Weaknesses - Limited experience. Inconsistent route running. Marginal initial quickness in his release & separation in man to man.

Doesn't seem like the possession-type WR. Maybe Steve Johnson fits into that role?

I wanted a hard-nosed kid known for going over the middle and taking hits, not for speed and long strides.

Compares To: MILES AUSTIN, Dallas Cowboys -- Easley was rawer than sushi entering the 2009 season, but like Austin he is blessed with exceptional athletic ability, making him a potential second day draft find. With his size and athletic ability, a patient coach could be greatly rewarded. You saw during the course of the 2009 season that he greatly improved his plant-and-drive agility to be crisper in and out of his cuts and he appeared much more comfortable extending for the ball. Few players in this draft have as intriguing array of athletic ability and talent that Easley possesses.

This guy has a great story. Went to UConn on academic scholarship and didn't play football first year. Walks on and makes team and works his way up depth chart and then breaks out this year.

Almost 6'3'' 211lbs , runs a 4.4 and can block also. Love it.

Marques Colston was a 6th rounder. I wouldn't write anybody off. He is still learning and may surprise us.

Judging by film, his hands seem to have glue on them. I wouldn't be too concerned.

When Eisen announced we picked him Chavous under his breath said wow good job and started nodding his head lol. Maybe he's a hidden gem. Remember Andre Reed in the 4th goodstown state don't count a guy out!

PECKERWOOD

I really like this pick, I think he can contribute right away and upgrades our receiver corps, maybe he even becomes our #2 guy.

I liked reading this:

Over his last nine games Easley (6’2” 210) had 46 catches for 867 yards and eight touchdowns. The stretch included five 100-yard receiving games. To show how he matched up against top talent, Easley had five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown against Rutgers first-round pick Devin McCourty (New England) and a dominant game against South Florida third-round pick Jerome Murphy (St. Louis) when he had eight catches for 122 yard and a score.
Having an 18.8 YPC average and the stats he did in his last 9 games, with a mediocre QB at best, is impressive, as is his showing against DB's who were drafted, and high (I love that he schooled the Cheaters' first pick!), this draft.

Unless Hardy comes out and just stuns the coaching staff, I'd say there is a great chance Easley becomes our No. 2.

I really like this kid. Gunna be a good one!

I love the pick, I live in CT, watch a lot of UCONN football. He literally came out of nowhere. I wanted us to take him, but never thought Nix would because of the 1 year of production, but I think he could be the #2 and a very good complement to Lee by mid season, maybe even the end of camp, dude is just an athlete. I think with NFL coaches working him he could be an absolute monster for us.

ANOTHER reason to be worried about this pick. when is PECKERWOOD ever right?

How good were UCONN's QB's? I don't recall them being anything special.

He had 2 throughout the season, Frazer went down with a knee injury and Cody Endres stepped in and played pretty well at times. Both were above average, putting up some big numbers against some tough teams, but no not really anything special, Frazer could do decent next year but it will be hard to replace Easley lol.

Easley was a great pickup for us, he is a future #2 WR, imo.
