When discussing the Lendale White trade to seattle, McShay just said the Bills FO told Carroll that Lynch was not available for trade. I like it, no reason to give up on a guy we recently spent a number 1 on. He better learn to like playing in B-Lo, sack up Marshawn! I have a feeling if this FO was in place last year Peters would have never been traded to Philly.

No doubt... touches out of the backfield should be at about the 50 count per game. Let's hope everyone is happy with how much (or little) they're getting the ball.

Well, now the 31 other teams in the NFL know to put 8 men in the box against the Bills this year. Congratulations. Not.

you can't run the ball more if your losing every game.

they wouldn't have drafted a receiver if they're going to be running 50 times a game

a 4th round WR doesn't mean we are gonna be a better passing team.

Chan Gailey is considered extremely creative. Don't think for a minute this team won't be throwing the ball.

I don't believe it. If they told Seattle he's not available it's because they wanted him for next to nothing. He is avialable for the right price.

How often does the RB 3rd on the depth chart touch the ball?

If Seattle wanted Lynch the Bills should have traded him. Stupid move. This non-move makes the Spiller pick questionable.

well im not too down about it because the bills did want a 2nd rd. pick and its already on rd. 4. So i applaud them for not getting rid of a former 1st rd pick for a 4th.

If they had offered a second round pick for him I might feel differently but we do not know what the offer was. RB's get injured, keeping Lynch is excellent insurance.

No one said run 50 times a game... 50 touches. 15 of those will be receptions... probably 6-8 each week by Spiller alone. Creativity will be a must with play calling given our inferiority at QB and weakness in the line. If we keep all three backs, there are going to be sets that have any two of them on the field at a time... Spiller lined up outside, Lynch as a lead back, Jackson and Spiller together. You're going to see all kinds of crafty stuff from Gailey.

Umm, Fred Jackson.

There is no reason whatsoever to keep Lynch.

we're going to go RB by committee and run the ball frequently, having 3 solid backs is a very good thing. And its obvious we weren't going to get any value out of Lynch.

If Spiller gets 6-8 catches every week, you might as well pencil him in as ROY and a candidate for MVP right now.

Ummm, if Jackson or Spiller go down then you have one, which clearly is not enough.

Sorry but I want a RB who gets the majority of the carries.
We seen how well splitting carries worked last year. There's a reason why someone is the #1 RB and the others and backups.

Keeping Lynch is a mistake, IMO. There is no value in keeping him, he won't touch the ball enough to justify him staying.

if he does that I might wait longer than 2 years before buying a jersey.

meanwhile ignore all the teams that it worked well for. RBs get brutalized.

Dallas has a good three-back committee:

Marion Barber --> Lynch
Felix Jones --> Spiller
Tashard Choice --> Jackson

It's gonna be hard for him to get injured this year when he's on the field for maybe 5 snaps a game! So he does have that going for him this year.

Just let it go dude, he was a #1 pick with ability, you don't just give players like that away.
