Get him - he'll want to get back at the Jets.

But him at Left Guard with Wood (when healthy) at Center, Levitre can play right guard.

Could we move Levitre to LT and use Wood and Faneca as guards this season?

I didn't mind Andy at LT towards the end of last year.

I like him hes getting old but we are set at Guard if Wood it ok. Or if they think Levitre can play LT we can sign him as a stopgap.

that is exactly what i was just thinking. hang can stay there till woods is totally ready to come back too.. gives us a lot of versatility.. hang was a great utility player in caronlina starting at center and guard very well when needed.

Fanaca doesn't fit our phallic naming scheme so he won't get signed.

to be honest the jets are losing some offensive guys. Mainly the thing that got them to the championship last year being their RBs. Lost Leon Washington and Thomas Jones. Looks like rex really didn't care about the thing that made his offense go. This shall be interesting!

Now an offense of lineman. Thanks for helpin us out rex! lol

washington was injured during the oakland game in the middle of the year, so as far as last year goes, he wasn't that big of a factor....

the loss of jones does hurt BUT shonn greene does appear to be fine, his big problem is the case of the dropsies.....

faneca however is a huge loss, despite his contract

As it turns out, guard Alan Faneca (http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=641) could have stayed with the Jets, if he'd simply been willing to reduce his salary of $7.5 million.

Per a league source, Faneca refused. And so he's gone.

The tampering rules notwithstanding, Faneca's agent presumably gauged the market to see if Faneca could get a better deal elsewhere. If so, look for Faneca to land with a new team soon.

I read that over $5 Mil of that $7+ mill was guaranteed, so Fanaca will only need to make a little over $2 Mil to match what he would have made in N.Y. I'm surprised the Jets cut him.
