Which draft would you rather have?

Davis sucks. Clausen was overrated.

Spiller is a star. Troup fills a need and is great against the run.

Looking back on how Clausen just dropped like a rock in the water, I would have rather done what we did.

Get the home run hit, and then address our pathetic run defense.

All of the QB's in this draft, aside from Bradford, are nothing but projects. And even Bradford isn't as sexy of a pick as some of the former 1st round number 1 overall picks in years past. Buffalo needed impact, and absolute definite starters. We've been drafting projects for a decade now. Nix has found us at the very least 3 new starters in Spiller, Troup, and Carrington.

I think Clausen is going to be good...great, probably not. But I see Clausen being something like Matt Schaub or Matt Hasselbeck. But Spiller is going to Chris Johnson good, or close to that. I would take that any day.

If you're going to rebuild, you do it the right way, and that includes identifying a franchise QB, then going and grabbing him. A second round QB is not the way to look at grabbing your franchise guy, especially when you have a boatload of other needs.
