doubtful - he's probably cut this year with the DE's we've added via FA/Draft and conversion from DT.

for that 7th spot, i just dont see harvey, duncan or favorite beating out mccargo...

They won't carry 7 D-lineman if they are going to play a 3-4...especially if they move Kelsay to LB then they can flip him in and out.

most teams that play a 30 front carry 7 lineman.. the bills during the 90s always carried 7 lineman...kelsay might put his hand on the ground when we go to a 43 once in a while....

He couldn't pass a physical on most teams. Remember when they tried to trade him a couple years back and the other team sent him back?

So the question is... why is this guy still in the NFL?

I remember McCargo as that guy that they rushed to pick to cover up for the fact they passed up on Ngata. Yeah... that one didn't turn out so well.

i wouldnt count him out as a DE

and in nickel as a situational rush DT he could play a nice role.

was he worth a first nope

however he does fit well in the 2 roles i listed above
