All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Just my opinion but everything seems to be going in that direction.
Tuuka's first 5 minutes of each game led to this call IMO.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
I don't think they'll take out Tuukka. He let in more than 2 goals once out of 5 games. But I believe they just have a good defense so it doesn't matter much who is in net, unless we can find a way around them.
if tim thomas goes in, i think that just jazzes up the sabres and gives them confidence to crash teh net harder and do the things that they haven't done.
This would be a collosal mistake on Julian's part and i'm hoping to god he does it.
Rask is one of few goalies who hung around in different stat areas with Miller during the regular season and switching that out for Tim Thomas would be silly.
IF this happens, which I can't find even a rumor about it on the internet so far, it could backfire so bad. Can you imagine if Thomas plays, let's in a few early goals? The Boston crowd might literally storm the ice.
This is only MBB's opinion. There is virtually no chance of this happening in MY opinion. Honestly, several of the goals that Rask has given up have been pretty weak, but there is no way he comes out. The Bruins are up 3 games to 2 still and as another poster has said, he has only given up more than 2 goals once, and that was 3.
Plus, hasn't Buffalo killed Thomas when he was in there this year?
The one time Thomas played against Buffalo he was yanked. I believe in that GDT I even said that playing Thomas against Buffalo makes no sense because they own him, where as Rask does very well against them.

I just checked through the recaps of most of the boston games and there was only one I saw where Thomas started and was pulled after letting in three goals.
