Hey Sal....as a non-Bills fan, I didn't think they did that badly (my grade is C+). Spiller's pick means Lynch is gone. They reached a round too high for Troup, but SOMEONE has to play NT, and it's not Williams. Wang won't see the field, but Calloway could, he was graded as a 4th round pick. Should have taken another O-lineman instead of Brown, as he could have been signed as a UFA. They signed two guys today, one from UB, can't see them of any help though. They need to strike it with the UFA's this year. At least they got some size on D, rather then playing a 215 pound backer. </td></tr></tbody></table>Monday April 26, 2010 12:33 John from Fairport

Objectively, they attempted to get better on defense through the draft. I can respect that and see the rationale there. But that leaves us Spiller added on offense, and maybe a WR. How can you design an offense around the current offensive line (leaving the QB question aside)? Most say you should never reach for need - take the best player... The Bills did exactly that in the 1st round with Spiller, and you're roasting them... Obviously they weren't the only ones who didn't like Clausen or McCoy... Heck, Carolina loved Clausen so much they took two more QBs in the same draft... He's an idiot sometimes. Sometimes I think he lets his fandom get in the way of his journalism.
