All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

It was a valiant effort at the end, but the overall game effort was pathetic. I don't think they played horrible the whole series, but 0fer on the PP, and unimpressive PK really was the difference. It was a good series, the team that won got more bounces and quite honestly played better. Not sure where the team goes from here, in regards to changes in the offseason.
No Vanek and Hecht = loss. Our little guys are complimentary players and they need Vanek on the ice to buy themselves some space. Pominville has to be spoonfed to score a goal. Roy absolutely can't make plays without Vanek.
Easy to see who our two best attackers are at the end of a series like this. It's Vanek and Hecht lol.
Frustrating officiating all series. Doesn't matter really because we put up a goose egg on the power play. But really how is that last icing not called???
I pretty much blame Grier for losing that double OT game and putting us in this position.
the NHL is at a weird stage with salaries. with a stagnant salary cap, it's impossible to sign "great" players. the sabres have connolly, pominville and roy at about $16MM. The cap is just over $50MM. That's 30% of the budget on 3 incredibly heartless players.
i liked gerbe trying to check chara in the corner yesterday. 100% effort.
Sabres will NEVER sign him at $10 million per season.
Unless he goes back to Atlanta, no one will sign him for that. I think he will take a 1 or 2 year deal for 6-7 million and try again when the cap goes up. As far as "the system"....If the system is not scoring goals- then yes- he does not fit the system
