Simonton hoping to cash in with the Bills

Ken Simonton, the Scottish Claymores running back, is targeting a career in the NFL after missing out on the World Bowl. Simonton came just 21 yards of breaking the NFL Europe League total offensive yardage for a season after racking up another 179 yards in Sunday's win over Amsterdam Admirals.

Simonton is disappointed at not getting the chance to further showcase his talents in this Saturday's World Bowl in front of a worldwide television audience of millions after the Claymores were squeezed out at the weekend. Instead, Rhein Fire and Frankfurt Galaxy will dispute the title in spite of the fact the Claymores finished their season with four successive wins.

"I think it sucks because we're the best team. Not to finish the season in our home stadium for the biggest game of the year is hard," Simonton said....more...

With our depth at RB, he'll only make it if he can return punts, kickoffs, or is a whiz on coverage teams.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
