I agree with all except QB I think Brohm wins the job.

My God, I forgot about McKelvin. Putting him back on kick returns with Spiller could spell certain doom for other teams' kick coverage units

And I agree with BeastMode...although maybe I'm hoping more than predicting, I think Brohm gets the job. I'm so done with the Trent Edwards experiment...

I think Stevie starts in the slot this year, other than that I agree...although I hope its Brohm as the #1QB over Trent

I don't think Mitchell starts at MLB...

EDS
04-27-2010, 04:00 PM
I think Hardy starting is asking alot given his injury history, although there is not a lot of competition for the spot.

I can't see how Green doesn't start over one of the young dudes, sadly.

I also don't see Mitchell starting ahead of Davis.

Is the plan to use Spiller as a change of pace guy like Felix Jones and Reggie Bush or is he seen as a guy who can carry the load like Chris Johnson?

Bills really must be crossing their fingers at WR, OLB and OT as those position are devoid of proven talent.

I agree with everything except Brohm being cut, and Kelsey.

Nix brought in Brohm 6 months ago. I don't see us getting rid of him. And Kelsey, even though many here won't admit it, is a work horse, and is one of those guys who plays his heart out (his heart is bigger than his talent unfortunately). I'm just not sure how he would perform as an OLB. I actually have us cutting him, but we'll see.

No way. The guy played safety in college...he by far is a better coverage LB in a 3-4. I totally disagree.

Yeah I think Davis would beat him out. He did just fine last season in Denver. Mitchell is just frustrating. But it may be different for him in the middle.

I don't see us keeping seven WR's and seven O-linemen. 5 receivers, 6 tops (expect a surprise cut here) and 8 offensive linemen, minimum. 6 d-linemen, but seven may stick. I think Schobel gets talked into coming back for one more year, but as a d-linemen/pass rushing specialist ( I wish he'd retire though). 7 LB's, 6 CBs. 4 safeties.

Davis faded down the stretch and was only a two down LBer. IMO, Poz and Mitchell will most likely start in the middle with Davis backing them up and may come on on obvious running downs.

You're uninformed. He only played ILB once and that was only due to an emergency start against Kansas State. He played OLB in the Senior Bowl and that is why teams were high on him as a LB transitioning into the NFL.

The guy is a 3-4 OLB period.

You mean for the Bills last year he did? So, what's your point? OLB in a 3-4 need to have the speed in coverage, which is why Mitchell had to kick inside. Harris will have no issues speed-wise in coverage in a 3-4.

You said he played ILB in college, not me. He did for one game.

Especially with Andra Davis here, Harris will def. be outside

If Spiller is a big part of our offense, he WILL NOT be returning both punts and kickoffs. I do see him as the primary punt returner regardless.

our oline was terrible because of all the injuries dude... our interior is set, green is slightly above average at rt, green is a really good run blocker, and if bell is healthy he is average... meredith could also start at lt... the line must stay healthy for once!
