    QB Situation

I would LOOOOVE for Brohm to step it up out and win the Job this season, but I just can't see it happening.

I also don't see Edwards or Fitz being cut. There just is no reason for it. Neither make big time money and both would be serviceable backups.

Levi Brown to me is a Practice Squad guy. I would be shocked if he made the final roster.

I also wouldn't rule out another Veteran QB to be brought in but I don't think that is likely.

I think he has a great chance to but that's me. I'm biased loved him in College and when was thrilled when we picked him up.

The QB situation is very puzzling. Should make for an interesting season.

Agreed I just don't get people acting like it is a given that Brohm will win it or that Edwards or Fitz are sure to be cut. It is illogical.

I'm not ruling out the possibility of Brohm winning the starting job, though Edwards is probably the favorite. I think probably the 3 QBs on the roster in September will be Edwards, Fitz, and Brohm, with Brown on the PS but that could change. Injury is always the wild card.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I strongly believe that Brohm is going to be the man and that it isn't a coincidence that he was plucked from the GB practice squad the same week Jauron was let go. Seems like a Nix move and I believe he is the favorite to win the job...or at least they have high hopes that he will.

P.S. - It doesn't matter what we think we know...this is a different HC and nobody knows what he sees in each QB, so most of opinions are pointless.

I surely hope so. I don't know how he could be the favorite though.

Wouldn't it be great though if Brohm well out performs Clausen, McCoy or even Bradford!!!

No, I'm not calling you out...just stating that it is hard to know where this might go.

I know one thing. If Brohm doesn't win the QB job,we're in for a very long year.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

i still have a small percentage of hope that new coaches might snap trent out of his funk

but after a couple games it will be obvious
