I walked away and later on my phone started ringing. The Giants called and said they were going to pick me next and then the Falcons called and said they were about to trade up to pick me also. Buffalo had been trying to call my phone and could not get to me. They called my mother and she starts yelling and said they are trying to get me. I hang up on Atlanta and talk to Buffalo. Their GM said go to the TV we are about to select you so I hurry to the TV and see my name come across. I talked to the GM, Chan Gailey, the defensive coordinator, and then the media relations people afterwards.

These past couple of days I have been hitting the weights super hard. I was drafted by the Bills in the 6th round. I was with family and close friends during the draft. It is a huge relief to know where I am going and what I am working towards. I am just getting in great shape and getting as strong as I have ever been.

We desperately needed size and power at our lb spots bad... batten and moats are both 250lbs... both run in the 4.6s and both have solid size and strength, we needed that bad!

Agreed. the Bills went along way this draft to at least get the personnel size and speed wise to play the 3-4. I really don't expect much out of rookie 6th round picks and UDFAs, but if they can stick around the Bills defensively are in good shape to start rebuilding the defense in the next couple of years to a good 3-4.
