Guys like CJ Spiller create fear in defenders. And that makes everyone on offense better. When was the last time we had a playmaker on offense?

My favorite stat is 21 out of 52 total touchdowns were for over 50 yards.

You know... I was being all cerebral before we picked thinking Bulaga, Trent Williams, Okung and Dan Williams. Then the pick came in and it was Spiller, and rather than being disappointed, I was instantly like, "OK, this is good." And since then I've gotten more and more psyched about it. I don't see him as the 2nd coming of Faulk, but I think he's going to better than Bush. And somewhere between Bush and Faulk is pretty damn good. let the CJ Spiller Era begin!

Eric Moulds was the last playmaker on this team. I love this Spiller pick! GO BILLS:bow:

That & the fact he never fumbles.

The fact that he completely dominated the acc competition and still made sure he graduated in 3.5 years is a huge testament to character and drive. He knew he would be the first taken rb with his career, yet he did what he could to make an example for other young kids to follow. Welcome to Buffalo and can't wait to see you in action!

3.5 is an exceptional GPA, he could find work outside of football, as well.

At least the offense won't play their patented "3 up, 3 down, lets go sit down" routine every time now!

Spiller was as slam dunk a pick that you'll get in a draft.

The Bills have been so bad drafting that they needed a pick that can produce quickly. The fact that we have to replace our 11th pick RB with a 9th pick RB just summarizes how bad a job OBD has done.

character was the one thing the bills fo looked over with drafting lynch, not talent... if lynch wants to he can be a top 10 rb, but right now he seems like he doesnt run with passion and power anymore like he did his first 2 years... heres to hoping lynch gets back on track and can be our power back...

If Okung or Trent Williams had dropped to us and we still took Spiller, I would've been pissed.

Looks like CJ knows how to play off blockers, something that Lynch never learned.

Much more exicted than I was. Everything this kid has done and said since then shows me he has a good head on his shoulders. And he's damn good. I can't wait to see what this kid can do when he doesn't need to make someone miss before he even hits the "hole".

What Chan didn't do is use him as a wr. We're saving that for the fins.

I think he split out wide on the first play, but they didn't throw to him.

I was saying before...Gailey mentioned they were going to hide exactly how they planned on using Spiller last night, but they used him in a bunch of different ways. He was a decoy, true RB, caught a screen pass, etc. If that's hiding his true role, I'm excited to see them really use Spiller in the regular season.

I hope spiller dices up the Pats D so bad that all their players are on O2 with before 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter.
