#1 Buffalo Bills

Andrew Luck*, QB, Stanford Only a third-year sophomore this fall but coach Jim Harbaugh has Luck on the fast track mechanically and mentally. Luck has prototypical size (6-foot-4, 235 pounds) and is an underrated athlete. More importantly, he has a smooth over-the-top delivery, a strong arm and great touch as a passer. Better decisions while gaining more game experience could put Luck in position to become the top player taken in the draft -- either in 2011 or 2012.

Well with our luck...oh forget it. It's just not even worth trying to be funny about.

In all seriousness, it's going to be fun to watch this kid play this year. Harbaugh's a good coach and it seems that Luck has the tools to be a successful QB.

Thats stupid.

We're drafting a rb with next years 1st pick.

I hope the Bills find it unnecessary to draft a QB in round one of the 2011 draft after the upcoming season.

So Locker fell off already?
What Luck...

I would rather have Ryan Mallet or Blaine Gabbert if he comes out.

I really don't think we'll be drafting 1st overall next year, despite the constant negativity of the media and many posters here.

I don't know about that one. I'm kind of tired of these California Qbs. We need a passer who can throw it around in the snow and wind. Mallet did play for Michigan and claims to throw close to 80 yards

Ryan Mallett, baby, he carries his team, unlike Luck who relied solely on Toby Gerhart, let's see how he does without him. Truth is, Gerhart = Stanford last year and if Luck has a down year, he may not even be worth a 2nd round pick.

Blaine Gabbert has the same arm, and may be more accurate. I think he's only a junior though this year for Missouri.

I agree with DB... its about potential so far.

Locker has the best shot at being the #1 QB, IMO, and maybe even #1 player taken. If he can just improve his consistency and become a bit more polished, he could be quite good.

I would assume with Jim Harbaugh for a head coach, Luck would be working on his mechanics and start holding the ball up where he should.

He got a 3rd Round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory committee, he has FAR more work to do than Luck.

Let's hope we get a great QB and OL in next year draft....If this years draft was also great, we would have a solid base for a great team.

Who'd we trade down with? :ill:

Traded back in to the first in a package deal to reacquire our 32nd.

But this is incorrect, we wouldn't take a DB from Miami, it's got to be Ohio State.

I still like the prospects next year just in case we decide we really need a QB. They alll seem to have size and arm strength. Hopefully they have intangibles and use next year to improve.

I really want Brohm to surprise, but we seem to have a nice option next year.

DB is right they are almost putting as much pressure on him as Jevon Snead had going into last season...

We all know what happen to Snead........

Not at all he is #1 QB in this draft on most boards but you are seeing a little of Luck and Mallett.
