Gaither to see Foot Specialist; No Trade Imminent

Gaither to see foot specialist; GM indicates no trade imminent

    NFL.com Wire Reports

Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither, who missed the last two days of minicamp with a lingering foot injury, will undergo an MRI exam on Monday and see a specialist later this week, according to the team's offical website.

“It’s basically a foot and a toe,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh told the website after practice on Sunday. “He just couldn’t get through the first practice on Friday. He didn’t finish the practice. I think it just kind of got worn out and sore and he didn’t feel he could go the rest of the time. That’s what he said and that’s where it stands.”

But, but....Schefter said his absence WAS NOT injury related. This CAN'T be true!

If this turns out to be one of those lingering foot injuries that will last for months, Gaither's trade value is next to nothing.

Look for the Bills to perhaps focus on Jammal Brown.

I hope so... this could be blessing in disguise. Time to see what Nix really thinks of Bell.

Gaither said on his twitter that his foot is fine. So I doubt it's anything serious.

I can't wait for the season to start, not for the football, but for all this speculation to end.

It's serious enough that it's keeping him out of practice. And if it's like that now, how's it going to get once the season starts and you are actually playing and working hard???

It could be that he was just looking to not practice in mini-camp, just stating what HE said.
