Source: Ravens want second and fifth for Gaither

I know there have been rumors the past few weeks about Gaither and the Bills. I just got a text from a source inside OBD and he told me that the Ravens actually want a 2nd and a 5th for Gaither, but the Bills are standing pat at offering a 3rd in 2011, especially because the Ravens have moved him to RT. If he was still penciled in as their starting LT, then their price would have been a first and a third. (as his tag indicated).

The source is legit and I stand by him because I got him after I got the gig with NFL.com. I am going to share my info with my editors and see if they want to run with it.

Not really anything groundbreaking, but info definitely worth noting.

In what way is this noteworthy? It's a rumor. If Jared Gaither was my brother-in-law (which he is) and he told me the Ravens wouldn't budge for less than a 2nd and 4th (which he did), is that noteworthy? Or yet more speculation?

Theres the difference in front offices again. We gave them a reasonable offer, and we won't get robbed by over bidding. I think in the end, a third is a good price and if the Ravens don't get any higher bids, they might decide to get it done. Thanks for the info T-Long!
