Just sent this to Chris Brown/Donte Leaving Twitter

I just sent this to Chris Brown after reading this latest blog entry of his:

Now keep in mind that I know this guy is a puppett of the organization and he dances when they tell him to...but I still felt this needed to be said.



Chris...

These so called "numbskulls" attack Donte on twitter and facebook because he DESERVES it, for being such a terrible player. If he actually put as much effort into playing as he does with tweeting he may actually live up to being the 8th overall pick in the draft, instead of getting shown up by a second round rookie saftey this past season, on his own team, who went to the PRO BOWL.

Whats wrong...Donte can't handle criticisim of his awful play, so he's just going to quit trying to act important on twitter? It's this EXACT attitude that's led to this team's poor record ever since he was drafted.

It's also nice of you to call out us true Bills fans who realize that this joker, along with Kavika Mitchell, do WAY more talking than their play on the field should actually dictate, and that them carrying on and acting tough on twitter leads to nothing, execpt angry fans.

Very classy move on your part.

Why don't you text him what I just said and stop being so mind numbingly one sided.

it's cool that some athletes choose to make themselves accessible to the fans via social media, but two things:

1. If you talk trash online, it will come back to bite you in the ass (especially since it's a digital record that anyone anywhere in the world can view at any time).
2. You will take criticism. At the very least, fans of other teams will try to get in your head, and fans of your own team may criticize you if you screw up bad enough or often enough.

It seems like neither one ever occurred to Donte. I have to wonder if he's going to use his signing bonus from his next contract to fly around the country and beat up 12 year olds who criticized him on the Internet like Jay and Silent Bob.

Some are actually reasonable. Troup keeps his private, other guys are very smart and selective.
