View Full Version : EXCLUSIVE: My interview with LB Arthur Moats

The Buffalo Bills are transitioning to the 3-4 defense in 2010, and they needed to address their personnel to fit the new scheme. There were a number of draft picks on that side of the ball, but one that really got people's attention was the late-round steal of DE/LB Arthur Moats from James Madison. He is projected as an ILB in the 3-4 defense with the Bills, after racking up 29 career sacks in college as a DE. He just participated in the Bills' first mini-camp, that included all rookies, first- and second-year players, and undrafted free agents. I spoke with Moats about his first NFL mini-camp and get his thoughts on his draft day experience, lining up against Bills first-rounder C.J. Spiller and the possibility of running for mayor.

Feel free to post to any of the other Bills message boards, Twitter, Facebook, etc. The more traffic I get, the more opportunities I will have of landing more player interviews. I do everything on my own right now, but things may be getting easier for me in the near future.

Always know that I am constantly trying to land more and more interviews. I've got a good relationship with a few players already, along with some in the media, so the future looks good.

Great job, T...nice read.

Hope we don't lose him too early to politics like Butler, and his interest in the FBI should keep him away from Marshawn on weekends (unless of course he's on 'official business'.)

Thank you for doing this. What you and Pat and Coach Sal are doing is great and really appreciated. I know some give you guys *****, but the majority of us that are "homers" or what I like to say are just fans like what you're doing. Keep up the good work. JMU isn't too far away from me, in fact, a guy I work with went there. I hope this guy is a find and really helps the team!

Strong work, T. I've been a big fan of Moats for about a year now and I'm an even bigger one now.

Great interview. He looks like he has invested a lot of time in the gym, not like that picture I saw of the nose tackle from Alabama, Terrence Cody. Moats looks like you could break a 2x4 across his abs without making him flinch.
