    All Billszone Team: RB

The All Billszone Team: Each day for the new few weeks I will be posting a position for discussion. Every active NFL player at that position is eligible for nomination. I will leave each thread open for about a week and tally the votes at the beginning of the following week until we have a full roster. When considering your vote, think of the players who have the most impact on the game today, I will use the runners up for our depth positions back-up RB WR etc... The All Billszone Team will be announced on Coach Sal's Show Bills Now in a few weeks. You're representing the Zone, so choose well!

Please bold your vote... it will help me track the results.

Todays position will be running back.

I nominate Steven Jackson. Jackson has continued to make an impact in St Louis despite not having an offensive line or a passing attack. Sure Chris Johsons numbers are better but IMO Jackson does more with less.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Bedard I may agree with you on this.

Steven Jackson plays on a bad team but always puts up Pro Bowl numbers.
Chris Johnson a very close 2nd...

I'm going with Chris Johnson... he puts up massive numbers on a team that isn't all that good and he's a home run threat every time he touches the ball.

Adrien Peterson would be a close 2nd for me.

It's got to be Chris Johnson. Can't ignore the numbers. Here's hoping Spiller is as good as or better for the Bills!

Ill have to say the obvious Adrian Peterson. He's still young and has a lot of time to improve upon his already impressive stats and feats.

Chris Johnson is my second choice

just to be clear you get no second choice... the runner up will be the back-up. Otherwise tracking will be way too tough.

If you are talking more with less than nobody did it better than Jamaal Charles. He had 168 carries less than Chris Johnson but still hit 1100 yards(only 12.7 attempts/game), and was a threat to take to the house almost as much as CJ.

I'm still taking Chris Johnson though. 22 runs over 20 yards puts him far above every single running back in the league.

at this point the only real choices to me are AP and CJ, so I'll go with Chris Johnson.

Right now, hands down, its Chris Johnson. He can do it all. Run, catch, return, and is so much fun to watch.

In 2 years, its gonna be Spiller. Just you wait and see.

Fred Jackson, since Spiller was a "luxury" pick.
