WR Vincent Jackson
DE John Jolly

Jackson's contract situation in SD is getting worse and worse while Jolly's legal situation with Green Bay may have him on the outs a year early.

Jackson is a no brainer for Buffalo but Jolly presents a unique opportunity. He was a very good 3-4 DE last season and would certainly start in place of Stroud, and that would push Carrington back to #4 on the depth chart which I am fine with. Given so many here have a hard on for starting rookies before they are even ready I know some would have issues with it.

anyways, to seriously answer this post. would we have to trade for them or do you think they will be released?

Jackson would require a trade more than likely.

As for Jolly they have big money invested in Ryan Pickett and BJ Raji is a guy they want to get on the field more in 2010. In their last minicamp Pickett moved from NT to LDE, and Raji played the NT.

Jolly is an RFA who is yet to sign his tender, they could simply rescind his tender.

6'5 230 lbs. sounds like the number two we've needed. how is he injury wise? how much would a trade for him cost? do you think they would be dumb enough to take lynch off our hands?

In the present NFL world of negotiations, if every Andre Johnson, Chris Johnson, or Vincent Jackson had his way, the cost of doing business would shoot right through the roof. Simply postering by the agents involved. Vincent Jackson is Phillip Rivers favorite reciever, so I truly doubt he's going anywhere!

Number 2? He'll easily be our no. 1

I don't see Nix giving up draft picks for any position other than LT, and even that is becoming questionable. We're more likely to pick up a WR or another DE from FA or the waiver wire.

thanks for the neg SAB. my post was meant to be a joke. if you were allowed in the no tos zone you would understand why.

I don't see Jackson coming here, Nix seems intent on building through the draft.
