    For grumbling, Eagles have best seats in house

    Ticket holders will soon find out where they sit in the new stadium. It's hard to please them all.
    In February, during a fan furor over season-ticket payment methods and lost paperwork, an unhappy Joe Banner allowed himself to wonder what to expect when the time came for the hard part of a move to a new stadium - allocating seat assignments.

    He will find out soon enough.

    The letters bearing those assignments are scheduled to go out next week. And the Eagles president says he has no illusions that he will have 57,000 fully satisfied customers on his hands; the two stadiums are too different for that.

    Fans get to see which of 3 wishes were granted

    Next week, the Eagles will mail out seat assignments for Lincoln Financial Field. Here's how they found ticketholders their seats:

    • Based on a brochure the Eagles sent out 18 months ago, the ticket office entered individual accounts with specific information, namely, where a fan's seat was in Veterans Stadium and any special requests - such as an aisle seat, to sit with other friends, to sit nearest to a restroom. Fans also listed three zones where they wanted to sit, in order of priority.
