Steelers quarterback Tommy Maddox did some wondrous things when he heaved the football into opposing secondaries last season, but he did throw 16 interceptions without making 16 starts.
Some perspective: Jon Kitna of the sorry Cincinnati Bengals and Drew Brees, in his first year as a starter for the San Diego Chargers, also threw 16. Houston Texans rookie quarterback David Carr, thrown into a fire where he was toasted almost weekly, threw 15. ...
