I used this figure:

http://spawn.com/toys/media.aspx?product_id=3087&type=photo&file=nfl14_ssmith_photo_01_dl.jpg

I used a different helmet and head, put the peg in the bottom foot, filled in the hole on the hip, and unfortunately they don't make a facemask like he uses so I did a little custom work on the mask to make it as close as possible.

Yea im working on a cookie gilchrist and snapped the original facemask and making a 2 bar facemask is a pain in the ass.

I don't really know how long it takes, I would say a few hours. I usually do it by grazing. I will do it for a bit, stop, do it more, stop, etc. I go to jomo's site, but I usually just do the research myself. I usually don't get much help from Jomo's site.

That site has great tips but I like to do all the decal creation stuff on my own. Any links to photos of your Bruce fig?

He just told me what he wanted on Sunday and I had to order a figure, I haven't started it yet.

Its a fun hobby during the summertime and keeps you in the football mood. Good luck and don't get frustrated with it, it takes time. I'm still no where near as good as some of the guys out there.

Yeah, just keep practicing and you get better. I have been doing it for a few years and I am still not as good as some, but I think I make a decent product.
