All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

OK, I seen a tweet by Donte Whitner. I can see where he is going here. Since the defensive back is always the guy that is scrutinized, I would like to hear what everyone thinks makes a good defensive back.
I need good instincts and fast reaction time out of my corners. Speed and change of direction is very important. I like some size too so my guys aren't dominated by big receivers at the line. Long arms is a plus. Vertical jump is something that I look for too at the combine.
And I want some adequate hands. Regardless of position if you get two hands on the ball and you somehow can't make the play, if I'm coach I'm rippin you up.
"The prerequisites for a great defensive back include better-than-normal speed, perfect body control, the toughness needed to stop the run, good hands, and confidence - plus an overall attitude that dares the offense to come his way."
"While sure, aggressive tackling is important, a good defensive back must understand that he can't miss any tackle, sometimes sacrificing a hard hit for a game-saving shoving out of bounds." ~Tom Bass
Hard work, determination and intelligence must be added along with God-given talent in order to play in the secondary
