Green: “Trent is ready to go”

Bills starting right tackle Cornell Green is pretty impressed with Trent Edwards approach to the 2010 season. Green believes Edwards is “ready to go” right now.

“Trent is ready man,” said Green. “He’s ready to go. He’s talking to us every day. We’re amongst him every day. We’re just trying to jell right now.”

Green just hasn't seen him in game form yet.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I hope he's not ready to go back to IR.

The best QB should be on the field, end of story. And whoever starts the season might not finish it anyways either due to injury or being yanked. I think if its Trent he will be on a short leash. This is the last year on his contract correct? Why waste the entire season on a guy if he shows early in the season he is definitely not the answer?

I see Brohm starting by mid season if Trent starts the season and struggles. Our BYE is week 6 which could be when a QB change is made if he struggles if not sooner. Might even see some Levi.

But at this point, the one who shows they can handle the offense the best and make plays should start and keep the seat warm for a new QB next year when they finally draft one or give Levi a shot.

Makes sense, probably looks like Montana seeing he was protecting Russell for the last 3 years.
