    When Kawika comes back...

Do Poz or Andra take a seat? Or is he going to ride the pine? My money would hopefully be to leave the defensive front 7 in the shape it's in right now (Stround/Williams/Edwards, Kelsay/Poz/Davis/Maybin), but does anyone see him cracking the starting lineup?

Kawika will be used in a rotation of guys, don't think he'll be a starter.

Some vets will be cut and the arm tackling Mitchell is a prime candidate.

He'll either be cut, traded or rotate in.

                Re: When Kawika comes back...

With all the LB injuries over the years, I'd prefer to keep him at least for depth. He's really not THAT expensive.

He'll be kept as depth this year cause frankly we need it. Then after Moats gets a year under his belt we cut his ass.

i think mitchell's only chance in a 3-4 was at MLB so i think he rotates on 2nd and 3rd down passing situations with davis....ellison will hopefully be the vet LB will be cut he fits nowhere....keep a young kid and develop him for the 3-4

                      I'd guess...

Davis on running downs, Kawika in passing situations.

Kawika will be history by the time the season rolls around.

                          Mitchell can go elsewhere.

That would be a DISASTER considering he can't cover anyone to save his life....as a pass rusher maybe, but he certiantly wont take snaps away from Maybin, Ellis, Kelsay on the outside, and typically the ILB's in a 3-4 stay home and only blitz or rush maybe 5% of the time.

I say cut him and let him become a full-time tweeter...considering thats what he really wants to do anyway.

He is a God-awful tackler, too.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
