The race will precede the annual Saturday lunch at Duff's.

Other runners?? Dr. Lecter, Historian, Mercy.

You don't have to run; you can walk!!

The $20 is for the T-shirt and the food & drinks afterwards!

          Plus....

The race will serve as both a memorial to those who risked and lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, and a fundraiser for the Volunteer Fire Fighters, Ambulance Corps and Police Benevolent Society and finally Centerpointe Community. The race is also a nod of appreciation to those public servants who risk their lives daily for others safety.

I think the only way to register is via mail.

              Sent mine in this morning!

No, I didn't see that. Cool! I know she (and another former co-worker) ran in it last year.

Well that's cool that the money is going to benifit those dudes. But after t-shirts and food bills, how much money do they really expect to send to charity?

Maybe the sponsors donate towards the cost of the food & shirts? I know that when I did a Toys for Tots Golf tourney... the majority of our prizes were donated. Budweiser & Coca-Cola donated all the beverages... the Golf Course donated & cooked all of the Brats (as well as gave us 1/2 of their profits for the duration of the tourney).
