So you guys are going to pay $20 to run?
:lmao:
The $20 is for the T-shirt and the food & drinks afterwards! :tap:
Plus....
The race will serve as both a memorial to those who risked and lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, and a fundraiser for the Volunteer Fire Fighters, Ambulance Corps and Police Benevolent Society and finally Centerpointe Community. The race is also a nod of appreciation to those public servants who risk their lives daily for others safety.

:idunno: Maybe the sponsors donate towards the cost of the food & shirts? I know that when I did a Toys for Tots Golf tourney... the majority of our prizes were donated. Budweiser & Coca-Cola donated all the beverages... the Golf Course donated & cooked all of the Brats (as well as gave us 1/2 of their profits for the duration of the tourney).

How are you doing on your C25K program?Sadly, I my iphone is toast so I can't use the C25K app. I was on week 8?
And I signed my boys up for the Fleet Feet NoBo program thinking it might help me get them going. But they are giving me such a hard time. For NoBo, we are at 4 minute walks followed by 90 second runs.
You know, my father never gave us a choice. I think I might have to go with that approach. The rumor around my school was that he wouldn't let us have dinner until we did our workout - which was kinda true.

Very cool.
Had a hard time talking my little one in doing the Jungle Jog this weekend and after our Saturday morning jowalk, because I felt so stiff, I decided to sleep in Sunday morning. I like evening runs better. Hot evening runs.
Toyed with the idea of joining the NoBo 10k group but the owner of the place discouraged it which annoyed me a little bit.
