Warren Sapp may be the most wanted man in Wisconsin, but he's not loath to make an appearance in the state later this week.

Stacy Jenson, chairwoman of the Darren Sharper Open, indicated Monday the Tampa Bay defensive tackle is planning to honor a prior commitment to play in the charity golf event that will be teeming with Green Bay Packers players.

"As of (Monday afternoon), his agent said he was coming," Jenson said. Sapp is among 40 NFL players and other celebrities expected to participate in the inaugural outing hosted by Packers safety Sharper and his brother, linebacker Jamie Sharper of the Houston Texans.

Packers quarterback Brett Favre is on the list to play golf Friday at Hidden Glen Golf Club in the Milwaukee suburb of Cedarburg. The Wisconsin Golf Club in Milwaukee will host a pre-golf dinner party Thursday night that will include a fashion show involving Packers players and their wives. Both events are closed to the public.
