I forgot how it initially started waaay back in the day but he was always partial to Buffalo, then he became really good friends with Jim Kelly which pretty much solidified his stance as a Bills fan....make no mistakes about it, he is a bonified Bills fan.

I was at a Sabres game in Hartford years ago and my buddy and I have to go to the bathroom during the game. We went out into the hall and there is Berman and his two little kids. We said hello and he said it back, my buddy said we were from Buffalo. He stopped, came back to us, then talked with us for like five minutes. He was nothing short of total class. I will always have a soft side for Mr. Berman.

To be honest, I'm ambivalent about the guy. If you like a little entertainment with your sports news, Boomer's your man. Those who prefer a straight newscast probably can't stand him-- then again, they probably can't stand most of the ESPN hosts.
