1 year contract per ESPN text.

Good for him.

Pardon my ignorance, but did we make no effort to re-sign him? He was the 2nd best receiver on the damn team...

The Bills informed him shortly before free agency (along with T.O. and Ryan Denney) that they wouldn't look to re-sign him.

I'm glad he went to a team that I don't mind rooting for when the Bills are out of contention.

San Diego's my other team, so I'm alright with it.

I hope he gets a ring this year. I'd rather the Chargers win it all than the Pats or Jets or Colts.

If I had my choice of only those 4 teams, I would root for the Jets. I really like Ryan & I think A J Smith, the GM of the Chargers is an ass. I'm not too crazy about Norvel either.

I will NEVER cheer for any of our division rival. NEVER.

Well, I rooted for the Jets in Super Bowl III as did every other AFL fan.

A decent player that always got a bad rap. Glad he finally signed.

Agreed, but I just don't have the HATE for the Jets like I do the Pats* & the Fins.

I think the NFL made a huge mistake in becoming one league. Had they kept the AFL & NFL separate like baseball, they could have still had interleague games & the League Champions, the Super Bowl & even the Pro Bowl would have had much more significance.

The Chargers & their fans better hope he does well. Smith signed him to take the place of Vincent Jackson.

Good for him. He's a very underrated WR. i still want to know why we didn't try to keep him. He's a solid #3 slot WR and makes those clutch 3rd down catches all the time.

i think he will do better too considerin they have a real QB and a real good team..in buffalo though he never became that WR..

He always quietly played his heart out for us, and was usually clutch. One of my favorite players.

Best of luck Josh!

I always liked Reed. He overcame the drops to be dependable as a slot WR and can get you that chain mover on 3rd down.

Anytime you can be employed in San Diego, you've hit the jackpot. I was stationed there in the military and believe it's paradise on earth.

I'm happy for Josh. He did a nice job for us as a reliable slot guy who could get us a first down when needed.

I hope he has a big year.

He's 50/50 to even maket he team. It is putting pressure on V. Jackson to get his a** in gear.

It's just for depth. Naanee would start for Jackson, with Reed in the slot, if he beats out Davis.

I don't think VJax is worrying, "Oh no they signed Josh Reed!! There goes all my leverage!!"
