2010 Preseason Comments:

6/28/2010- "He went 11 feet and one inch in the broad jump (second on the team), 39 inches in the vertical (second on the team) and squatted 535 pounds (second on the team). Oh, and he also ran two 4.37 laser-timed 40s, according to LSU strength coach Tommy Moffitt. "And he weighed 220 pounds when he did that," Moffitt said. "He's 6-foot-1 and some change. The guy is a freak. Freak. Honestly, this guy would outrun [former LSU sprint champ] Trindon [Holliday] in the 40. In the 100, it wouldn't be close, and Trindon would probably get him in the 60, but in the 40, Patrick's gonna win. Trindon would be so mad if he heard me say that." 11/27/2010- vs. Ark

1st Qtr:
2:30- Not a very good job getting his head back around to see that the runner was coming his way

2nd Qtr:
11:42- Near pick. Plays tight coverage
10:49- No problems catching the punts
6:52- Let his man slip right by for a 85 yard TD
6:42- Cat quick returner, can out run anyone in the open field
1:32- Not afraid to hit
0:00- Got blocked out of the huge play before halftime

3rd Qtr:
14:44- Another huge return

4th Qtr:
14:01- Sick moves on this return
7:26- Takes decent angles to get to the carrier
0:49- Stupid unsportsmanlike penalty

Patrick is an electrifying player in both returns and his coverage skills. He plays with great speed and toughness. He's the kind of player you would leave on an island.
