Buffalo News say HOME opener against the Rangers, not season opener...could still play an away game

The Buffalo Sabres will play their home opener for the 2010-'11 season against the New York Rangers on Oct. 9, which is a Saturday, the team and the National Hockey League announced Monday.

Just wait until the rest of the schedule comes out today, I'm sure we'll have some more brutal road trip stretches to ***** about instead. At least we shouldn't have to cram like 14 games into a month again this season though.
