Buffalo News say HOME opener against the Rangers, not season opener...could still play an away game

The Buffalo Sabres will play their home opener for the 2010-'11 season against the New York Rangers on Oct. 9, which is a Saturday, the team and the National Hockey League announced Monday.

Eh, I'm not too keen on starting the season with a back to back.Just wait until the rest of the schedule comes out today, I'm sure we'll have some more brutal road trip stretches to ***** about instead. At least we shouldn't have to cram like 14 games into a month again this season though.
