Actually it's Wideman, TSN confirmed.

The Florida Panthers have parted ways with Nathan Horton (http://tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/?name=nathan+horton), sending the forward to the Boston Bruins. Horton along with forward Gregory Campbell (http://tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/?name=gregory+campbell) are leaving Florida, while defenceman Dennis Wideman (http://tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/?name=dennis+wideman), the 15th overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft and another draft pick are heading to Florida.

Savard is on the block though...

Don't Bruins fans hate Wideman?

I guess an interesting note to this was while the rumors of Horton to Buffalo were swirling, it was said in the media that Horton and Kaleta pretty much hate each other. Should make next season more interesting anyways.

I do think the Bruins will stay active this week. They pretty much know they're getting Seguin, and we dont need Bergeron, Savy and Krejci.

Seems like a good trade for Boston.

Seems like a good trade for Boston.Seems like a great trade. Boychuck proved he's NHL talent last year. Seidenberg is back and McQuaid played solid in the post season and while he wasnt a stand out he didnt make mistakes looks like Wideman is the odd man out.

A lot of people on the Boston sports station think that the Sabres want Boychuck.

I'm not saying this because Boston got him, but just saying what I found when digging around a little bit for something I was writing.

One thing that has seriously dogged Horton throughout his career has been his work ethic or motivation. From what I've read, he sounded like a better version of Drew Stafford. Someone who can play, but disappears for long stretches.

I would think it is hard to be motivated playing on Florida. I think you will see a total different player next season. I think the Bruins just got a lot better. He has a manageable contract, grit, can score, and huge eyebrows. Isn't that what you look for in a player?
