but aside from Pat the Bills have not had much luck with DL draft picks recently.

One thing we know - being polynesian he knows how to eat and can carry the weight!

Nice, I bet you should have pork chops.

I think it is nice that the Bills got a Polynesian on the team. I think the guy has real potential due to body structure - most Polynesians can add mass and carry it well as well.

What's the deal with the 5 on the Wonderlic? That's what has me worried most about him. English as a second language?

Pat wasn't a draft pick though...an undrafted free agent . ;)

who cares about a wonderlic test? Hes a DT he needs to only know simple things, like "Hit the man with the ball" and "Get to the QB" from what his stats show he already knows things. Football is not a tough game to understand you dont need to be a rocket science.

Doc

No you don't need to be a rocket scientist, but you can't be stump-dumb like a 5 says he should be. Unless as I asked, if him being born outside the U.S. (I'm assuming) and English being his second language worked against him on the test.

He was born in American Samoa and English is probably not his first language but it will not be as unfamilar to him as some foreign students.

Some of the questions on terst are not English oer say but other things - math, geography, problem solving and other things which seem simple to some people in US but others still have problems with it.

To see a sample test go to ESPN:

All tests are culturely biased :afro:

I have to say those wonderlic sample questions are rediculously easy... If some of these guys are getting college degrees and scoring low on a test like this, its an insult to the other people who work hard for degrees from those schools

No problem gunz!!! My brother is getting his digital camera back, so I should have some picks to put up.

Miss Buffalo, can you ask him where he's playing?

Nose Tackle or Under Tackle? I would assume under. The other is to confirm what the Bills are doing in 2003. Does the UT lineup against the Weakside Guard? This is the subject of another thread. Ingtar has answered for last year. I was just curious if the Bills will continue to lineup the UT against the Weakside Guard in their conventional 46 this year. Thanks in advance!

He just called and he's going to be bringing his 2 roomates with him!! I'm trying to figure out who they are. They have to be rookies as well.

Better make a LOT of food!

MissBuffalo

LOL--you should see my poor ma. She's bustin' her butt off making all this food. We have sauce, beef cutlets, salad, pork, neckbones, meatballs, spare ribs, 3 cakes (all homemade). We have a couple neighbors coming as well and my grandpa's been here.

You better get an interview ot of this....

MissBuffalo
06-15-2003, 02:17 PM
 dozer....I was thinking that but I don't want to seem like some pushy fan, snapping pictures and asking questions every five minutes. I'm hoping if I ask they'll either be willing to do it tonight or in the very near future. Maybe I can set something up with one or all of them.

Get some inside info from him at least. I'd like to know how the O-linemen like the new OL coach, even though that's not his position.

i dont think he would be mad if he sat down at the dinner table and it was surrounded by lights, cameras, and some mics above his seat.

I got some inside info., but I'm waiting to post it because I want to start a thread with the pictures I took. (Still waiting for someone to tell me how to post pic's on here from my computer)And I did get Sapes' phone number for an interview, he's going to be coming over to dinner with his wife when he gets back into town for training camp. My dad's picking them up from the airport.
Jon Dorenbos came with him, the long snapper magician and damn, he did a bunch of card tricks for us and he is really, really good.
