I've been a high school football coach for 12 years, as well as a head track and field coach for 5. I've coached in the South-Central Florida HS All-Star game 5 times in that time, as both a QB and a DB coach.

So, people call me "Coach," whether in my professional or even personal life.

But by no means does anyone have to, of course. It just stuck with me through my on-air work in both radio and TV as I've worked in the media throughout the last 10 years or so.

Do the Bills have a player that can fill the NT position adequately this season?

Re: Top 10 Burning Questions about the Bills

What asset do the Bills have that can prove the critics wrong in the 2010 NFL season?

Of all the negativity surrounding this team, and other than the Cerberus attack (Fred/CJ/Marshawn), what positives can we derive from the current roster or coaching staff?

Chan Gailey led the Cowboys to the playoffs, a feat that hasn't been accomplished in 10 years by the Bills. Can he lead a very young team to the playoffs within the next 2 years?

In the 3-4 defense, can the secondary thrive off of a hopefully better pass rush? With a very sound secondary, will other teams mask play calls and use the TE/RB more in passing plays to keep secondary defenders off the field and risk throwing against other coverage?

if Aaron Schobel doesn't return as a Bill, what do you foresee in his future, and on the same note, will his loss mean anything to a revamped defense?

What is the sound of one hand clapping?

With a sturdy interior and no plausible trade or FA signing in sight for a left tackle, how much faith do you believe the coaching staff has in Demetrius Bell or Jamon Meredith in contributing to an NFL line? As young tackles, can they step up?

Who wins the QB battle through camp?

If healthy, can Derek Schouman replicate last seasons promising numbers and become a reliable option at Tight End? If not Derek, can Shawn Nelson or Jonathon Stupar fill the safety-valve role?

With Marcus Stroud playing his entire career at Defensive Tackle, can he hold his own on the edge?

Are Dwan Edwards and Andra Davis decent, good, or great additions to the defense, since both have experience in the 3-4 and both should be starters in a new regime that brought them in?

Will I be the only person to ask relevant questions?

From a paper standpoint, where can this team realistically finish in the AFC East? Aside from that, if they surprise, where can they end up?

What are your intial impressions of the new Front Office team of Nix and Whaley?

Breakdown the mess that is the WR's, do we even have a legitimate #2 WR on this roster?

You're now Buddy Nix, what position do you work to see if you can find an upgrade at during the TC/Preseason through trade or potential release?

Marshawn Lynch; Trade, Release, or hold on to?

Re: Top 10 Burning Questions about the Bills

Are the injuries that have plagued this team a direct result of Camp Jauron? Will we see changes under Gailey?

Will the Bills do anything to take advantage of the uncapped season? A lot of marquee players are looking for cash.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
