View Full Version : Anyone heard anything about Maybin?

I haven't heard anything about him this offseason about his "transition" to OLB. I remember this time last year all we were hearing about was how lost he was in OTA's.

In the Bills Round-Up video for Wednesday, it said Torbor was taking snaps with the 1st team at OLB...maybe im reading too much into that?

When pads get on I'll see what Maybin does. Right now the OLB's are holding off considerably. Get up to full speed and we'll see what goes on.

Didn't Torbor play strong side in Miami? If so he'd be going first team in Kelsay's stead not Maybins...

I'm sure Torbor is being given reps to learn the defense.

But we will know more in training camp.

If Torbor is consistently getting more and more reps while Maybin gets swept under a rug then we have a problem.

has anyone heard anything spectacular from any of the OLB in OTA's? Do you honestly think that they should be making news by sacking the qb without pads? wait for the pads to come on before over reacting. I haven't heard anything about our DE's either. Maybe we should skip the season.

I think Chris Brown has mentioned him several times during OTAs, and he has mostly run with the first teamers.

I don't believe the amount of hate by fans of this team toward a young, second year guy. Could some of you at least give him a second season before consigning him to your personal s**t pile?

AS most said, at least wait until the pads come on. Torbor has been stealing reps from him though.

Wow name one LB'er in OTA's that has gotten any real press

some of you are off the charts unreal in your expectations at this point. LB'ers can't really show squat till they can hit.

Not trying to defend Dick's project drafted in the 1st rd , but he's basically a rookie all over again learning a new position.

Orakpo went AFTER him and tore it up. Meanwhile, Maybin did nothing. Literally nothing. I honestly didn't expect much from him his first year but he couldn't even get on the field. For a pick that high, it's simply embarrassing.

It's not Maybins fault tha the team made a bad choice, but fans have every right to expect results.

Well Maybin is still responsible for his performance. Maybe it's unfair to put 1st round expectations on him just because the Bills were dumb enough to take him that high, but his rookie season would have been disappointing even for a 5th round pick. The guy needs to be better, period.
