11:33 amThe Bills offense is off to a much better start to practice than in yesterday's morning workout. QB Brian Brohm (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/522786) started with the first unit and connected with WR Steve Johnson (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1116922) on a pretty long ball down the right sideline in tight coverage.

12:31 pmQB Brian Brohm (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/522786) continued his recent stretch of strong play at Buffalo's morning practice and was the most impressive of the three players fighting for the starting job. "I feel like I'm getting better everyday," Brohm said.

12:42 pmQB Brian Brohm (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/522786) on his progress this spring: "I feel like the game's slowed down for me quite a bit. I'm feeling really good about where I'm at right now, as opposed to where I was last year or the year before."

4:59 pmQB Trent Edwards (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/410129) is with the first unit this afternoon. He got off to a bit of a slow start but did throw two TDs in a red zone drill.

5:00 pmWhile QB Brian Brohm (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/522786) has made great strides as of late, arm strength remains a concern. Brohm didn't have enough zip while throwing an out pattern and it was easily picked off by CB Ellis Lankster. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1674126)

I want to see more from Brohm...hes improved consistently it seems....I just hope Gailey makes the best choice for this season and is basing it only on performance and improvement, not who other people are telling him to pick.

From Mark Gaughan's report:

Ellis Lankster picked off an out pass from Brohm, but it looked like a case of the defense recognizing the play well before the snap of the ball.

From Mark Gaughan's report:

The media always contradict eachother.

We think it's a game of sorts. :D

I don't get it. I thought one of the few acknowledged positive points on Brohm was a strong arm?

Look at the second word in your name and that's what the media is missing when it comes to the QB situation.

QBs who have good arms sometimes throw bad passes with not much "zip" on it. **** happens.

I've actually heard Brohm has the weakest arm. Interestingly enough, Fitz has a strong arm but has that weird throwing delivery. Edwards has decent arm strength though he too often tries to put too much touch on the ball. I hear Brown has a rocket arm.

no... i don't get where people get that idea. watch him throw a 20 yard out. because he can't. he simply can't get the ball there... it turns into a 15 yard curl, that flutters.

Brohm's up...then he's down....and he's up again...and he's back down!

No, no I'm not anywhere near an English professor. I'm just curious as to why you feel the need to type like a 7 year old.

Losman could throw the ball 70 yards and 100 mph and completely sucked at the out pattern. How often did we see DB's jump him on that ? I hate that pattern. Way too much downside.

Quick outs, 10-15 yard seam routes to the TE, quick slants, 3 step drops and touch throws over the top to the WR's ...if we can get that out of Brohm then start him and eliminate the out pattern, since 9 out of 10 QB's can't complete it anyhow.
