Who do you think we would of taken with the pick we used on Mabin?

Nix was here.

However I believe he implied that picking Maybin wasn't his decision. He said something to the effect of Maybin not being ready to make an impact as a rookie, but would be good in 2-3 seasons. And him wanting someone who contributes immediately when picking high.

I'd say Orakpo if Dick Jauron hadn't called the shots on the pick.

Considering Nix compares Spiller to Percy harvin and Nix said playmakers is our biggest need, Im pretty sure we would have drafted Percy Harvin.

Jason Peters would still be a buffalo Bill also.

I was thinking the same but id also think they would of wanted the best player, which would of been Cushing or Orakpo

Nix had a say in picking Maybin...I'm not sure if he'd take him that high had he been the man calling the shots, but he definitely was part of the decision.

I think it would have been between Harvin and Cushing. But Percy gets my vote, I think they would have taken the homerun hitter in Harvin.

Orakpo... he was ranked much higher then Oher at that point....

but the decision would have been between Oher and Orakpo
