over/under on sabres moves for July 1

I'll set the bar high at 3.

My guess is that lydman goes - 1
    Tallender goes - 2
    and we sign 1 player - 3.

    What's your guess?

I think 3 is about as high as it goes.

We'll re-sign Lalime, probably re-sign Ellis or Mair (but not both), and probably re-sign Tallinder or Lydman (but not both).

We won't bring in anyone from outside the organization.

So you are saying that the Sabres NOT signing a player is considered a move? If that's the case, Darcy is a freakin' genius.

I'll take the under. If you consider one of our players signing elsewhere as a move, then I think it will be 2. Tallinder will leave and the Sabres will sign a forward.

          Over/under is 1.

Free agents leaving isn't a move.

Agreed...I'm going with 0. Darcy believes everybody signing the first day is over paid and the Sabres won't over pay for anybody unless he is the "over-rated core" of this team.

ok, i did include movements out, because i really didn't want to make the bar at 1 or 2.

As stupid as this sounds, i still remember where i was when the sabres traded for lafontaine and when they traded for Petr Svobda. I remember the excitement of when we got hawerchuk.

I haven't felt that kind of "wow, something to look forward to" since prelockout.

I still really hate those adelphia douchebags for not bringing in every single player to win the cup when they were fradulently stealing anyways. They had all the money they needed to win a cup. and if they did, it's possible that a trial in buffalo would have had them getting off. "scratch our backs, we scratch yours."

Now i'm sliding into bitter buffalo mode. I'll stop now.

Buffalo can't even cheat or steal properly.

We could consider someone signing with another team a minus....so that would put the over/under at -1.....

Getting Gilmore and Dumont for Grosek really could have helped if Gilmore didn't get sick at the end of the season that year.
