Whenever I get caught up in the negatives on this team, I get excited remembering that they drafted Spiller. I think this kid is going to be a dynamite player.

I'm excited to see what he can do as a Wideout for us.... Him and Evans and posisble Parrish or Easley would give teams nightmares and they could be unguardable on the long ball.. D's will have to choose on downs which player they want to cover the most.. leaving one open IMO

D's would also have to cheat and play a couple steps back if our QB's can hook up early with a few long tosses...

I don't think there is such a thing as a good angle with Spiller. He out ran them all.Seriously. In several of the highlights, the DB's seem to have good angles, but then aren't even close to making the play. Also, once he's in the open, he's outrunning people by 10 - 15 yards.

Its basically just this easy, get him through the line, and he can outrun just about anyone.

this is a minor point, but i like that in the highlights of spiller's highlights, he always runs through the endzone. even when he totally blows by the opposition, he never coasts the last 5 yards into the endzone. he runs hard the whole way through.

to me that speaks about being very focused and playing hard all the time.
i'm basing that off the highlights, but several games and he never just coasts into the endzone even when he gets 5-8 yard cushion with defenders giving up.

That's good leadership.

With a 33 yard avg as a kick returner his senior year and a 20 yard play 20 times rushing and receiving his senior year i would say this guy is a big play waiting to happen at any second
