I didn't know he was a fan! Welcome to Bills nation Phil Ivey

"Ivey is a Los Angeles Lakers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Lakers), Houston Rockets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston_Rockets), and a Buffalo Bills (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_Bills) fan and can often be seen wearing basketball (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basketball) jerseys. Ivey's hobbies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobbies) include video games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game), prop betting (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposition_bet) and golf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golf). He participated in the inaugural World Series of Golf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Series_of_Golf), where he finished in third place. "

And these guys as well.....

Donald Trump (Buffalo Bills) – The outspoken billionaire and host of television’s Apprentice was born in New York City. Since the Bills are the only football team to actually play home games in New York, then it’s fitting that Trump would become a fan. In the 80s, he was also the owner of the USFL’s New Jersey Generals.

Chris Berman (Buffalo Bills) – The voice and face of ESPN, Berman is recognizable to a legion of sports fans. He’s a passionate fan of the Bills (just ask the Swami), and he’s reported to have a close friendship with former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly.

Meat Loaf (Buffalo Bills) – His album Bat Out of Hell has sold over 37 million copies. He’s also appeared in films ranging from Fight Club to Spice World. But despite being born and raised in Dallas, Texas, the artist known as Meat Loaf is actually a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan.

Can we please get Trump to buy the Bills then. He may actually be willing to pay for a winner.

Rumor is that Kelly has tried to line him up to buy the Bills if RW passes...

but this team has been so bad for so long that if RW passes...it's liable to fall incomplete. :D

Not sure how the NFL would feel about Trump owning a team...

I can see him wanting his own "Jerry-land" (Cowboys new stadium).

Cool tidbit.. actually I did hear this before. I put together a thread one day over at bb.com asking if anyone knew of any celebrity bills fans... Actually got tons of responses there, not sure how many of them were factual or not but a couple other celeb's to note are:

David Boreanaz-Capt. Kangaroo's kid, and star of Bones.

And someone mentioned Ronnie James Dio-RIP, which not sure about but he did grow up in Cortland so I'll stand by that he was, until proven otherwise.

From what I've read, Boreanaz is neither the son of Captain Kangaroo nor a Bills' fan. He was born in Buffalo, but grew up in Philadelphia. He is the son of a Philly TV weatherman and a Flyers, Phillies, and Steelers (for some reason) fan.

He is the son of a Philly TV weatherman and a Flyers, Phillies, and Steelers (for some reason) fan. That "Philly TV weatherman" was David Thomas Boreanaz, Sr. a.k.a. Dave Roberts, who spent 17 years at channel 7 in Buffalo before the parent company moved him to Philly. Dave hosted Rocketship 7 (the kids' show), which explains the confusion with Captain Kangaroo (which he didn't host-- that was Bob Keeshan). I seem to recall Dave Jr. having an interest in the Sabres, but I don't recall.

I can vaguely remember Rocketship 7 when I was a kid... It was the one from the 90's as I don't know who Dave Roberts is but remember Mike Randall doing the show. Awesome!

Thanks for that info, like I mentioned before didn't know what to really take as fact or people posting things for the heck of it, but I mentioned these two simply because they seemed like they were accurate based on responses. Sorry for the wrong info.
