for those prices, they usually have a COA. does your signed football have one? if so, who is the COA from?

Im not way off at all....
trust me when I say I know more about autographed items then most.
I probably have 300++ items from jerseys, bats, sticks, helmets, footballs, etc.....

I have more the 15 signed Kelly items and I oculd never get over $200 for anything right now.......The economy SUCKS and no one has the extra $$ to throw around on signed stuff...

If youy get $250 for a football great deal on your part......
Football costs $70 Jim's autograph is not worth $200 or even $100......

Yea i have an authentic Southern Miss Brett Fravre helmet signed with a pic of Brett siging it and I may be able to get $300 but it would be pushing it right now.....

Yes and NO....
If you have a pic of him signing the item that is actually better.....
But a good COA works best that has a hologram on both items from a show or something......

Autographs lose value if there's a large amount of signings. And as far as I know, he signs A LOT.

Why pay 300 for an autographed football that would sit in a case (hopefully) taking up a large chunk of space, when you can get the same autograph on a photo or something you could hang on a wall.

You are sort of right..
Jim signs alot and usually for $25 with that $$ going to his charity...
So that means you buy a football and his autgraph and you are under $100

And unless that 300 dollars is gonna go to the charity as well, an average sports fan most likely wouldn't wanna pay that money.

I don't remember how much it cost, but like 5 years ago on the Kids Escaping Drugs telethon my dad won a football auto'd by Jim and he personalized it for my dad as well.

So that would be a case where spending a couple or even a few hundred isn't such a bad move.

A photo proves nothing.

Unless the item you have him sign is extremely unique.

How many footballs do you think Jim has signed in his life?

Yeah, you could go get one actual football signed by him and then autopen or forge 300 footballs by him.

Make copies of that original photo and boom.

Like I said, any autograph without a COA really is worthless.
